So Grimmjow has just sent Ulquiorra off to a different dimension and is currently fighting Ichigo after some minor healing.

So far I think the Bleach anime is just awesome, the animation has gotten a lot better since the whole Bounto-arc, and they are following the manga closely, although if they continue this pace I can't see how they will avoid reaching the current manga chapters and will be forced to either throw in a filler or pause the anime somehow, any thoughts about this episode in general or anime reaching the manga?

The small filler before they reached the Privaron Espadas was bearable, but I fear it wasn't sufficient for the whole manga - anime pace.

god..... im barely holding back not to watch so many ep. ... cause i always have to wait a loooooooooooong time for it to be finished ...... im curently at ep 160. im waiting for more ep. cause if i watch 165 and its a to be continued.. i'll die .

probably around 245 or less,but who knows,they could milk it to around 300

who knows tho dondon but wait the episodes are closing in onto the part of the manga? i still think that the manga is still ahead well that's just me i guess i notice that the fillers pop in when the actions gets into suspense i think. In the battle so far grimmjow got his pride as a fighter so it's going to be one awesome fight

The preview on Episode 167 showed that fillers will be starting as of Episode 168.

oh ok i saw that part in the filler he seems unique and interesting yet awkward lol

Now I wonder if they'll just kill him off or send him off to some distant mission somewhere so they can just make a whole new filler arc for him the next time they catch up to the manga...

kill who the new captain guy? the anime converted to a whole new story line to avert the over lap of the anime to the manga but the manga continued on with the original story line
