Samurai Champloo

Post by Sofaboy on Thu Jun 28, 2007 8:54 am

Samurai Champloo (サムライチャンプルー, Samurai Chanpurū?) is an anime series consisting of twenty-six episodes. It was directed by Shinichiro Watanabe of Cowboy Bebop fame and produced by manglobe. The show is set in a fictional version of Edo period Japan, featuring elements of action, adventure, and comedy.

This extremely funny anime series ended way too fast, and too many plot-holes were left open... like what happened to the police woman who said Mugen would be hers someday? lol. Talk about the anime here. Cool

Good quality on the movie-side of it. Too bad the music drags it down... Evil or Very Mad

Samurai Champloo was a good series. I liked where Mugen fought that blind girl. Also, the funniest episode was the baseball one, the Japanese against the Americans, lol

^ Yeah, that one was hilarious.

I also liked the graffiti one. But hey, they were all pretty good except for the zombie one, which was just kind of weird.

I don't remember the graffiti one, it's been a while since I've seen it

Hmm.. the graffiti one, was that the one with the twins? It's been a while since I saw it as well, but if I was to pick a favorite episode, I'd say the one with the police woman xD It was hilarious when she kept hitting Mugen.

I liked it. Some of it felt like it was dragging to me but other than that it wasn't bad.

Right, and the zombie filler was weird... besides that it was all in all pretty good... They should've made more though, I didn't quite like the ending where they just went separate ways... scratch

Nah, that's ok. I can watch them anytime on stage6 or Veoh... been a bit busy lately anyways, lol.
