HSD Kenichi

Ive been reading History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. Its a great anime and it followed the manga pretty close, but left out a few minor scenes that had no bearing on the story. While the anime ended at 50 episodes, the manga is ongoing. There are a few different groups scanning it, I usually read those by Franky-House, but if another comes out earlier, Ill read it too.

I was wondering if anyone else read this manga and what they thought about it

YES. History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi is awesome and I can't wait for the translators to continue the arc after the last fight against Odin, because now it seems they are starting to introduce the really strong villains.

And Shigure must be one of the funniest female characters in a manga like this I ever saw...

They have started on it, I think 144 was where the anime ended, and they have scannlated up to 148 so far

Shigure is one of my favorite characters, she is always doing something to make me laugh

Yes I've read up to Sakaki dragging Kenichi with him on that mission against the French-dude, I can't wait to see the rest.

Anyway the anime ended pretty openly and close to the manga in terms of plot, I hope they consider picking it up for a second season or something.

That would be awesome, Ive heard that the bad guys now are YOMI and its leader is Mui's father!! What a twist!!

Mui? Are you referring to Miu? Her parents died when she was small, didn't they?
