Well, we might see Isshin in SS 100 years ago! Another theory could be that Isshin was living in one of those gigais that Urahara made that will seal your power, and after awhile, his powers have started to come back. And in the flashback, we see what looks kinda like a captain's cloak, but he also has the armband on that the VCs have on, so I dunno what that was about
