It did? Really? I got bored of the anime around episode 8 so never stuck around for the end... but maybe I should watch the last episode... what was different? Was it better than the manga ending? I disliked the manga ending.

It doesn't play out too much differently than the manga, though. Light goes crazy, it's awesome
